This hilarious viral video filled me with delight this morning.

Not one but two people have told me I look like Karen O. That’s two whole people, y’all. I have to say that I’m pretty flattered. Karen O is one of my favorite musical artists ever and she’s pretty cute, too.

I’m so into the movie Prometheus right now and it’s not even out yet! I know I’ve already posted the trailer, but HERE IS ANOTHER ONE:
Pretty cool, right? Well, what’s even more interesting is that the makers of Prometheus are realeasing a series of videos intoducing characters and concepts from the upcoming film. Is this supposed to make people more excited about the film? Because if so it’s working on me. Here are two of them below:
What really fascinates me about these two clips is the presence of recognizable, modern day brands and companies in this fictional, futristic world. Yeah, okay, so it’s a big marketing campaign or whatever. While that’s certainly true, I also think that seeing a TED talk and a robot powered by Verizon in this film makes it seem so plausible. Will we one day live in a world where robots are indistinguishable from people and the human race views itself as possessing god-like powers? Maybe!

Blue Jeans - Lana Del Rey
I wasn’t a fan of Lana Del Rey’s Born to Die overall, but I really, really like this song. I also really, really like swimming and the ethereal quality that comes with underwater photography and videography, so I guess you could say I like this video, too. Was that sentence too long?
OK Go - Needing/Getting
This is one of the most amazing music videos I’ve ever seen! OK Go drives a Chevy through a musical obstacle course and there are no stunts - the lead singer took driving lessons so he could drive it himself!
Another cool music video that came out this week is M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls.”
In the vein of neat car stunts, the car on two wheels trick showcased in this vid is real, ladies and gentlemen. Real. Let that blow your mind. I’m still recovering from the shock.
